Anvil Campground is appropriately named in honor of the owner’s ancestor, who made a pioneer living as a metalsmith with the tools of the trade showcased in the camp office. This historic spot has a variety of sites available -- if you want to stargaze from your tent, the daily rate is $34.99.

RVers can expect a fairly level, gravel site with cutting-edge connections to electricity (20/30/50 amp), water, and sewer, as well as a picnic table and fire ring. Sites include WiFi and your favorite channels on cable TV. Beautiful trees provide shade for RV sites, which offer pull-through and back-in access for any size RV. The daily rate starts at $44.99.

Supreme craftsmanship is apparent in the cabins and cottages available for rent, complete with living areas, bunk beds, a microwave, and TV. 

Clean bathrooms and a laundry facility greet the visitor at possibly one of the most child-friendly campgrounds on the planet. The swimming pool area boasts a sandy beach shore with a theme park where kids can zip-line, play on the swings, or climb a rock wall.

Family dogs are welcome and can play their own park with plenty of space to run and play. Doggy bags are available, and owners asked to pick up their precious pal's waste. Happy hounds under 50 pounds in weight are welcome and will need to stay on a leash when out of the RV or pooch park. There is a limit of two pets on all sites, and a daily pet fee of $10 applies for cabins. The hosts have thought of everything and even offer free treats at the office!
