Description

Traveling through Colorado with your favorite furry travel buddy? The Arrowpoint Campground is the pawfect place to rest your head while on the way to cities like Denver, Colorado Springs, Vail, and Aspen. There are different accommodations to choose from, including pet-friendly cabins, so you can find the option that best suits you.

If you pre-fur the primitive camping route, you can choose from private tent sites which are secluded from the RV sites and cabins, or the centrally-located “semi-private” sites. There are showers, bathrooms, laundry facilities, and even dishwashing stations scattered conveniently throughout the park. If you’re traveling in an RV, truck trailer, pop-up, fifth wheel, or similar vehicle, you can pick out a site that fits your needs. The park has everything from full hook-up options -- with electricity, water, and dumping -- to no hook-ups. You are welcome to customize your experience based on what you will need during your stay. For tent and RV sites, up to two pets can stay for free. However, cabins have a fee of $10 per pooch.

For visitors bringing along their pets, you can take advantage of the designated dog walking areas to stretch Fido’s legs and let them do their business. Be sure to bring doggy bags and pick up any waste they leave behind! If necessary, you can also board your pet, as the Arrowpoint has kennels available on-site as well.

Enjoy the crisp, Colorado air at Arrowpoint Campground and Cabins! Sitting at 8,200 feet above sea level in the Rocky Mountains, there is no shortage of beautiful sights in the area. The 14,000-foot peaks of the Collegiate Peaks are visible from all tent spots! You can also venture outside of the park to explore sights around the Arkansas River or hike one of the trails nearby.

Regardless of your plans, you and Sparky are sure to enjoy your trip to the Rocky Mountains if you book a stay at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
