Beauty Creek Campground is tucked into a narrow valley with open spaces and grasses along the creek, but it is surrounded by densely wooded hills, making it a beautiful location for camping. The Cascade Mountains and the Bitterroot Mountains surround you as well, with some of the best views of the mountains in the immediate area. You will have direct access to many trails right from your campground, which are perfect for taking your dog out on an adventure with you.
At the campground, vault toilets and fresh drinking water are available, but you will not have access to showers. Picnic shelters, firewood grills, boat ramp, and restrooms are available at the site as well. A group cooking area is an option as well. A dump station is located within 10 miles of the site, so you must take your trash with you when you leave. Peak season is from May to September so you can expect the biggest crowds during this time.
Dogs are more than welcome to camp at this site with you, but you will need to bring your own poop bags to clean up after your dog. You should keep Fido on a leash and make sure he/she is non-aggressive to other dogs and people. Always make sure your dog has lots of drinking water and a cool, comfortable place to sleep and rest.
Overall, Beauty Creek Campground is in a great location, has tons of natural beauty, and offers lovely hiking trails for you and your pooch! So, grab your camping gear and your dog and head out for a weekend full of fun.
