The Coeur d’Alene River offers campers the opportunity for aquatic activities. There are also hiking trails available all throughout the forest; these are great places for viewing the area’s diverse wildlife also. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled while you and Fido are exploring -- you'll have the chance to see a variety of birds and waterfowl, and you may even spot a moose!
That's why it's extra important to keep your dog leashed at all times. Remember that bears are common in the area, so you should store and dispose of food carefully. Also note that the campground strictly enforces a 14-day limit for all stays. Finally, remember to always clean up after your dog!
