Berlin Flats Campground offers groups the opportunity to experience the awesome outdoors scene in Idaho. The campground is situated in Idaho Panhandle National Forests, a set of three large forests that together encompass over three million acres across Idaho, Montana, and Washington. Many campers choose to visit Berlin Flats every season, and you’ll be glad to count yourself among them. The area’s breathtaking natural features and fun outdoor activities will make your camping trip unforgettable, and you can even bring your dog along since the campground is pet-friendly!
Berlin Flats features one campsite that can accommodate groups as large as 75 people for a nightly fee of $98. You’ll find the campground’s setting to be perfect for relaxing and enjoying good company: fringed by tall pines, this serene spot offers stunning vistas of the Cascade Mountains. Shoshone Creek and the Coeur d'Alene River nearby provide the finishing touch for the campground’s picturesque backdrop. Berlin Flats features convenient amenities as well. The campground has drinking water, picnic tables, a fire pit with grill, and vault restrooms.
You’ll probably want to venture out and explore some of Idaho Panhandle National Forests’ great outdoor recreation sites. The Coeur d’Alene River offers campers the opportunity for aquatic activities. There are also hiking trails available all throughout the forest; these are great places for viewing the area’s diverse wildlife also. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled while you and Fido are exploring -- you'll have the chance to see a variety of birds and waterfowl, and you may even spot a moose!
That's why it's extra important to keep your dog leashed at all times. Remember that bears are common in the area, so you should store and dispose of food carefully. Also note that the campground strictly enforces a 14-day limit for all stays. Finally, remember to always clean up after your dog!
