Description

Bighorn RV Park is a puptacular camping facility in Bighorn Sheep Canyon by the Arkansas River. This park is a family business with RV sites, cabins, bunkhouses, a motel, and a few tent sites. The area dedicated to RVs offers 30 or 50 amp hookups with water only or full sewer hookups. Nightly, weekly, or monthly fees vary depending on the level of service you choose, but nightly rates for 30-amp sites start at $36. Sites have shade trees and pull-through capability with plenty of space between RVs for slide-outs.

Here, you can pick from a range of activities both on-site and in the canyon. In the park, you'll be able to lounge by the pool, go fishing in the Arkansas River, play horseshoes, or play volleyball. The camp also offers convenient access to biking, hiking, and climbing trails. Walk along the water or head into the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and unique rock formations in this part of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Watch for bighorn sheep, pronghorns, prairie dogs, eagles, osprey, and more during your travels. Head to one of the nearby river tour companies to go floating or whitewater rafting. When you come to this resort, you won't have an excuse for being bored!

You need permission from the camp to bring Fido here. The park has some breed restrictions and may allow up to two pets per site. If the park approves your furry pal's presence, keep them under control at all times. Collect and discard their waste immediately.

Whether you're planning an extended visit or a weekend getaway to Bighorn Sheep Canyon, Bighorn RV Park offers a great home base for your travels. You can choose to relax in the park and enjoy the many amenities available here, or you can explore a variety of sites and activities in the area. This facility is open year-round and provides easy access to recreational opportunities in every season.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
