Buffalo Ridge Camp Resort
Buffalo Ridge Camping Resort is located in the charming outdoors of Custer, South Dakota. This campground welcomes all types of campers and offers amenities and luxuries bound to enhance your camping experience.
This is a dog-friendly campground, with dogs allowed on all sites! There’s a pet fee of $5 per dog, per day for dogs staying in tipis and cabins. No fees apply for tent or RV campers. When visiting the park, you're asked to keep your pooch on a leash and under your control at all times. Dogs are always to be scooped up after, with waste disposed of properly in garbage receptacles. Areas where dogs are not permitted include the laundry facilities, bathrooms, pool, and playgrounds. Dogs are allowed to come inside of the main office with owners.
The resort offers a variety of site types with rates ranging from $36 to $53 per night. For RVs, there are 53 pull-through sites available. For individuals looking for a rental, there's a total of sixteen cabins and three authentic tipis. There are 35 tent sites in total, 15 of which come with electrical hookups and 20 that are primitive. All sites come with fire rings. Firewood is available for purchase within the grounds.
The spacious campground, coupled with its convenient location, offers guests plenty of opportunities both inside and around the grounds. A short drive away is the famous Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. Both locations are pawfect for exploring South Dakota's scenic outdoors with Fido.
Back at the campground, you can check out the outdoor pool, playground, or Buffalo Ridge Theater. You can also explore the acres of outdoor spaces within the grounds as long as you keep your pup on a leash at all times. Other campground amenities include hot showers, flush toilets, a meeting space within the theater, and a general store where you'll find all your camping necessities. ATV and UTV rentals are another perk of the park.
