Pop-up sites are also available that have 30 amp hookups but no sewer services. Fires are not permitted on campsites but there are designated locations for them within the grounds.

Dogs are invited to accompany owners at the RV and tent sites only. If you bring your pup, never leave them attended, always keep them on a leash and be sure to clean up any pet waste. For your convenience, three trails have been marked for og walking and a dog run is located in the grounds for your pooch to burn off some energy.

When at Lake Park, there are a variety of activities for you to enjoy. Fishing on Canyon lake and in the Rapid Creek, are popular past times as well as biking the 7 mile path around the Lake. Bike rentals are offered and can be booked in advance. There are also tennis and racket ball courts in addition to an in ground pool. Lake Park is only 30 minutes from Mount Rushmore, giving you an opportunity to check out the scenic views.
