Bull Trout Campground is a top destination for lakeside camping in Idaho. Every season, countless campers visit it to experience the campground’s amazing setting and the area’s outdoor recreation sites. Bull Trout Campground is the perfect location for your next camping trip, and you can rest assured you’ll have access to everything you need to make it a furrific one — the campground has top-notch amenities. Best of all, the campground is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your canine companion with you!

Bull Trout offers 38 sites, and there are many different site styles to fit your needs. There are standard sites, equestrian-only sites, double sites, and group sites, and the nightly fees range from $15 to $75. The sites have ample shade from the surrounding pine and fir trees, and they also come equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings. Many of the sites have a view of Bull Trout Lake, and some of the sites even have direct access to it! All the sites also have access to the campground’s amenities, which include drinking water, vault restrooms, parking spurs, and trash collection service.

You can find plenty of things to do in the area around the campground. Bull Trout Lake conveniently sits right next to the campground, and it is a pawesome spot for fishing and canoeing. Also, you can find some great trails in the surrounding area. You can explore Warm Springs Trail with your waggy friend — this 15-mile out-and-back trail offers stunning vistas and is pawfect for those looking for a challenge! It's part of the Boise Green Belt Trail System, so you and your pooch will have plenty of ground to cover if you want to keep exploring!

When you’re visiting Bull Trout Campground, please adhere to all of its rules. Dogs should be kept on-leash at all times. Also remember to clean up after your pooch. Guests note that, although bears live in the region, they're not commonly seen at this campground. However, you should take the necessary precautions to avoid attracting them to your campsite.
