Canyon Pines RV Resort is a premier place to camp in western Idaho that you won't want to miss. You'll find it in Pollock, and Canyon Pines has excellent facilities for RV and tent campers. The resort's position along the Salmon River means there's no shortage of scenery to enjoy during your stay! The resort sits at the base of the Little Salmon River Canyon which shields the area from extreme weather conditions so it can remain open all year long. Doggies are welcome guests at Canyon Pines -- the campground just asks that you keep your pet on a leash if they're not in your vehicle and always clean up after them.
Each of the 54 RV sites has either 20, 30, or 50-amp electric, as well as high-speed internet and in-park movies and satellite TVs. Sites can accommodate vehicles up to 60 feet, and each grassy spot is 30 feet wide with a 12-foot concrete pad. The resort's restrooms are often referred to as the cleanest campground bathrooms guests have ever seen, and they even include showers with heated floors! There are picnic tables, campfire rings, and other group gathering areas around the resort, as well as free wifi. You'll also find laundry facilities on-site, but be sure to keep your dog out of this and other indoor areas.
Resort guests will have access to excellent fishing on the Salmon River if they have a valid license. The water moves very swiftly, so swimming in the area is strongly discouraged. If you need to stock up on ice, firewood, snacks, and other supplies during your stay, the camp store has everything you need. Guests can also play at the horseshoe pits or visit the rec room, and there are two dump stations on-site.
Tent sites run for just $20 nightly, although there is a two-night maximum stay at this furrific resort. RV sites begin at $34, but be sure to inquire about Good Sam and large group discounts. Rates are based on four-person occupancy, and each extra guest over the age of three is subject to an additional $3 charge per night.
