Description

The Catfish Junction RV Park and Campground is found at the end of Hells Canyon, one of the deepest river gorges in North America. Situated on the banks of Snake River, this campground is the ultimate destination for people who love camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities.

This furrific RV park has full-service sites available for daily rates starting at $30. If you want to camp out in the open, there are tent camping sites available. One cabin is also available for overnight stays.

Its proximity to Snake River provides ample activities, such as boating, swimming, and kayaking. As the name of the campground implies, fishing is a huge attraction at the park. The river is easily accessible from the property via two boat launches and a dock. There is an on-site bait store that offers day-use fishing licenses, as well as a convenience store. Catfish are the most popular catch of the day.

A playground and game room complete with ping-pong tables and board games will entertain the children and let them burn off the out-of-school energy. Birdwatching is also a popular activity at the campground. There are picnic tables and barbecue pits for outdoor gatherings. Keep an eye on the activity schedule as well for fun events like movie nights and catfish cook-offs.

Catfish Junction RV Park and Campground is pet-friendly with many grassy areas for Fido to explore. The nearby Farewell Bend State Park has an off-leash, fenced-in dog park where there are many prairie dogs for your real dogs to chase! It’s a short 10-mile drive from the campground.

The gorgeous Snake River, Hells Canyon, and surrounding areas provide a fantastic scenic drive. The quiet town of Huntington has a museum dedicated to the Oregon Trail.

If you’re making your way out west and need a place to stay, relax on the Snake River at the Catfish Junction RV Park and Campground.
