You'll find the Cedar Oaks RV Resort on the shores of Grand Lake of the Cherokee in Grove, Oklahoma. There are 123 RV sites at the resort, as well as three cabins and one small home for rent on the property. Each RV site is either lakefront or has a lake view, and sites have plenty of shade. Cedar Oaks is a very pet-friendly resort, and they even have two fenced off-leash areas! Just be sure to keep your pet leashed when they're not in the dog parks and always clean up after them.Â
Each RV site at Cedar Oaks has full hookups and 30 or 50-amp electric. Sites are landscaped with patios and picnic tables, and there's a large fire pit area all guests share. Cabins require a two-night minimum stay, and they include linens, furniture, and kitchen appliances. Rates stay the same all year, and RV sites begin at $29.95 a night and cabins start at $69 per night. Be sure to ask about Good Sam, military, and group and club discounts when you book.Â
The resort has a spacious laundry facility with 12 washers and 10 dryers, as well as clean bathrooms near the campsites. The bathhouse is guaranteed to be open from April to November, and it may have extended dates depending on the weather. There are four meeting rooms for hosting events at the resort, as well as a covered outdoor pavilion with picnic tables and views of the lake. The resort has its own boat dock and launch ramp. Be sure to register your watercraft when you arrive, and ensure that you have current tags.
When you take a trip off of the resort property, you'll find plenty of exciting things to do nearby. Choose from golf courses, theaters, gardens, or museums, or head to H20 Sports Rental where you can rent jet skis, tubes, paddle boats, wakeboards, and more.Â
