The Covered Wagon is a welcoming family-owned RV park known for its accommodating staff, clean facilities, and homey atmosphere. This park prides itself in its unbeatable prices, with a flat daily rate of just $43.95 no matter the rig, season, or location. The 52 gravel and paved sites feature 30/50 amp electrical hookups, wifi for up to two devices, and convenient access to clean, modern restrooms and hot showers.
Owners are allowed to bring their pets so long as the pooch does not fall into their restricted breed category. Unfortunately, several of our favorite breeds are prohibited here, including Rottweilers, Dobermans, Pit Bulls, Malamutes, Chows, and wolf hybrids. The pet policy requires owners to keep their pets leashed and tend to their messes immediately. Failure to do so could result in fines or eviction, so keep the poo bags handy! You'll also need to let management know you're bringing a pet when booking your site.
Just 20 minutes away is the Desert Botanical Garden, a majestic landscape of native cacti, succulents, and desert flowers. The garden offers spectacular learning opportunities for inquisitive young minds as well as a romantic setting for lovebirds who enjoy a leisurely stroll. Plants not your cup of tea? Check out Roosevelt Row, the city's art district that is jam-packed with galleries, intricate murals, and thought-provoking art installations!
