Description

Custer Crazy Horse Campground is a spacious and family-friendly destination in Custer, South Dakota, near all sorts of attractions and activities. Whether you're looking to camp in an RV, a tent, a cabin, or a deck house, Custer Crazy Horse has a spot for you! Guests remark that the management is very friendly and eager to help make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Spots are spacious and have room for parking one vehicle, but if you need another parking spot, management will help you find one.

This is a pet-friendly facility -- the staff just asks that you clean up after your pet, are courteous of other campers, and don't leave your pooch alone if they bark. Dogs are permitted in the RV and tent sites and the cabins, but not in the deck house. Upon arrival, your dog will have to be approved to stay in a cabin with you.

You'll have your choice of an RV spot with full or partial hookups, as well as tent sites with picnic tables, fire pits, and electric and water hookups. Cabins sleep five people, and the deck house sleeps eight. You'll need to supply your own bedding for the cabins and deck house, but the deck house has kitchen facilities and an outdoor BBQ with propane. A primitive tent site goes for $25 a night, RV sites begin at $36 per night, cabins at $45 a night, and the deck house can be rented for $130 per night.

Some of Custer Crazy Horse Campground's other amenities include a heated pool, a playground, a dump station, and laundry facilities. There are plenty of stables near the campground if you'd like to go horseback riding, and there are hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails within 20 minutes of the campground. Nearby, you'll also find plenty of prime fishing locations, as well as boating, swimming, kayaking, and canoeing options.

Each night, quiet hours are enforced from 10 PM to 8 AM, and guests who don't observe the quiet hours will receive one warning before being asked to leave without a refund. You can reserve your spot at Custer Crazy Horse more than a year in advance. Prepare to fall in love with this pawfect campground!
