As the closest full-service RV park to the entrance of the Denali National Park, Denali Rainbow Village is a convenient campsite for RV travelers looking to enjoy a little time at Denali National Park. The RV park is just one mile north of the park's entrance, which makes it a great choice for RV campers.
The campgrounds not only allow for RV camping, but there are also rooms in the lodge that guests can stay in if necessary. There is no tent camping allowed at Denali Rainbow Village. There are 61 spaces for RVs to set up and numerous rooms and cabins. The cabins don't have water or sewage, so they are for the rough and tumble campers.
Dogs are allowed on the property as well, and there is even a dog walking service that guests can purchase if they are going to be leaving their dog on the campgrounds for an extended period of time. Dogs are not allowed in the motel rooms, however.
The RV park gives guests access to Wi-Fi as well as on-site rentals, groceries, showers, restrooms, a restaurant, and more. There is even a mall on the property where guests can get coffee and gifts and set up tours and river rafting trips.
With such close proximity to the national park, many guests spot wild animals from the park with ease. Plus, you are close enough to hike and get to the river. In the park, many guests enjoy winter sports such as skiing, and others love the fishing opportunities that are available in the park. Bring your dog for a hike in the mountains with you or sit back and relax with a picnic lunch with great views.
The park isn't open all year, but it is a great place to visit between May 15th and September 15th every year.
