Eagle RV Park & Campground

Eagle RV Park and Campground is located in Thermopolis, Wyoming. They have a year-round resort with only 34 spaces available. They welcome RVs, tents, and even have cabins for rent. Your pooch is also invited to join you at this site, however, there are a few things to keep in mind if Fido is coming along!

The resort is surrounded by trees and is very grassy. There is also a body of water nearby. The resort offers restrooms and showers as well as laundry services, metered LP gas, RV supplies, and even cable! There are also fire rings on site and firewood available for sale. However, it’s always good to check on the rules about a having a fire before you light one. For your RV, there are full hookups available, tables at the sites, and room for slideouts, if needed. If you’re looking for outdoor amenities, there is a playground, pavilion, horseshoes, badminton, inner tube trips, and a general store stocked with necessities - and some fun things too! Hunting season in this area is during the fall and winter. There is also fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, and more nearby.

Thinking of bringing your pooch along? As mentioned, that’s okay! In fact, they even have a pet walk for your use. There is a pet fee if you rent a cabin. Otherwise, there doesn’t appear to be a pet fee. There isn’t much about resort rules and dogs, but you can bet you’ll have a better trip if you bring a leash, bedding, food, and anything else Fido might need to stay comfortable. Also, bring along some poop bags. Most resorts expect you to clean up after your pooch, and it’s only sanitary. So, bring bags and be ready to scoop your pooch’s poop!
