Sleeping Bear RV Park & Campground

The Sleeping Bear RV Campground is located three hours away from Yellowstone National Park in Lander, Wyoming. Perched on top of a hill, visitors enjoy the view and access to the surrounding area. It is known for sunsets and vistas. The park has amenities that include a fire ring and barbeque cooking. You will find a splash pad and arcade games that will give both big and little kids some added entertainment. 

With laundry, a convenience store, and a picnic area, it is a convenient place to stay.  There are trees, shade, and a pavilion. The campground includes 40 full hook-up sites, 6 water & electric sites, and 2 tent sites  Rates vary by type of site and cabin. There is cabin rental with a shared or private bath options. The park has the endorsements of a Good Sam Park as well as affiliations with AAA and Escapees. 

Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash when they are not in your RV. Never leave your pet unattended and always be courteous, cleaning up after your pooch. 

Visitors to the park consistently describe the park as clean with helpful staff, though the sites are close together. It is just a walk to downtown and there are nearby restaurants if you do not want to cook. There is one Fido-friendly restaurant in town, the Lander Bar & Grill, and it has outdoor tables. 

This is not a fancy park, but it is well rated by visitors. You can sit on a campsite and enjoy the view of the mountains and rocky terrain that surrounds this peaceful place - perfect for taking your dog on a camping trip.
