Famil-E-Fun Campground & RV Park

Located not far from Mitchell, South Dakota is the quiet and relaxing Famil-E-Fun Campground and RV Park, where family is the number one priority. This family-run, pet-friendly campground welcomes all types of campers, from those looking to pitch a tent to those looking for a more modernized stay in an RV or cabin.

Dogs are welcome at Famil-E-Fun, as long as they remain on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to tidy up all dog waste and maintain control of their pooch at all times. Your pup is free to venture through the campground, but you're asked to keep them from entering the buildings and pool area.

Tent sites are only $20 per night and come with both water and electric hookups. This rate is based on two people, with every additional person costing $2. All tent sites come with both water and 20-amp electric services. RV sites can accommodate large rigs as well as smaller camping vehicles, such as pop up trailers. All RV sites come equipped with water, electric, and sewage hookups. Sleeping cabins are also available, which accommodate three and come with a half-bath, but unfortunately, cabins are not dog-friendly.  For those interested in long-term camping, both weekly and monthly rates are offered at this location.

When it comes to things to do, Famil-E-Fun has many opportunities for entertainment and amusement. A free mini-golf course is offered to guests’ right inside of the campground. There’s also an in-ground pool, horseshoes and a playground to keep the kids busy. Not to mention the campground is stocked with amenities including hot showers, a bathhouse facility, laundry area, and complimentary wifi.
