At this campsite, you will have access to a refreshing lake, a small, sandy beach with plenty of grassy areas, and some spots with lots of shady tree coverage. You can swim in the lake and also take your boat or kayak out to the lake as well. Other favorite activities include fishing, hiking, bird watching, watersports, and hanging out around a crackling campfire! Of course, you are getting some picture perfect views of the mountains off in the distance as well.Â
There are no showers at this location, but you can rise off in the lake, and there is a hand pump water access as well There are also sites you can take a picnic and eat at the picnic tables in both sunny and shaded areas. There are not many amenities at Finger Lake because it is meant to be a more primitive camping experience. You will not have access to cable, WiFi, or electrical hookups. Tent and RV camping is available.Â
Dogs are allowed at this campsite, but the leash rules are unknown. It is best to keep your dog on a leash at all times, make sure they respond to verbal commands well and are non-aggressive. Poop bags are likely not available, so please bring your own!Â
Overall, Finger Lake is a peaceful and smaller campground that is secluded and away from major roads and traffic. If you and your pup give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!
