Geneva Park Campground

Geneva Park Campground is a popular campground for both new and experienced campers. It is located outside of Denver in the heart of Colorado. Woodlands, hills, and mountains surround the campground, and its amazing setting attracts countless visitors every year from near and far. So does its location; it lies near many outdoor recreation sites, giving campers the opportunity to venture out and experience all that the Mount Evans Wilderness has to offer. Because the campground is dog-friendly, you can even bring your furry friend along with you!

Geneva Park Campground’s 26 sites can each accommodate up to eight campers, and each site allows either two vehicles or one RV. There is a $6 fee for an extra vehicle. The nightly fee for a campsite is $22, but the fee for day use is just $7. There are a number of amenities on the grounds: you have access to drinking water, grills, and picnic tables. The campground sits at a high elevation of nearly 10,000 feet, so please be cautious if you are arriving from a significantly lower elevation!

You won’t be at a loss for things to do when you’re staying at Geneva Park Campground. While it might be tempting to relax at your campsite and enjoy its peaceful atmosphere, there are some great outdoor activities nearby that you may want to take advantage of. The obvious choice is Mount Evans Wilderness, which is a short trip east from the campground and is a great spot for hiking and wildlife viewing. The Abyss Trailhead is also near the campground to the south, and it provides similar opportunities.

Remember that dogs must remain on-leash at all times at the campground. Also, there are no RV hookups available, and there is no dump station, so be prepared to pack out all waste.
