Description

Cruise into Glendo Lakeside RV Park and be met with a relaxing view of Glendow Reservoir, a fishing Shangri-La and the reason why many folks choose to stay at the park. It’s a prime spot for anglers looking to score their share of walleye, catfish, and more from the fish-filled waters at the nearby Glendo State Park, only 5 miles from the camp.

The camp is a serene sanctuary located a few miles off the Interstate, with no road noise and full hook-ups to electricity (30/50 amp), water, and sewer. All level sites are pull-through and comprise of river-gravel rock with plenty of space for the awning. Youthful trees are on their way to becoming shade from a Wyoming sun. Sites come with a complimentary picnic table and room for a fire grill. There is, however, no access to wifi.

The park caters for the larger rigs with extra long sites and easy-to-maneuver roads. Restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are well-maintained, while the charming hosts work hard to ensure you and Fido have a memorable stay. The fee for spending a night is a generous $38.

The theatre in this wondrous part of Wyoming is on stage in Glendo, an endearing town where the boats are always out on the reservoir hoping to win the catch of the day. Locals and guests at the RV park can enjoy relaxing on the beach, water-skiing, swimming, or hiking the diverse trails at the state park.

Dogs are welcome to splash about in the lake or join their guardians on the intrepid trails. Tail-wagging woofers are also invited to the RV park, where they are required to stay on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Pet parents are responsible for bringing litter bags and cleaning up their waste. Daily walks will be a highlight with so many scenic areas to explore.

Glendo Lakeside RV Park sits on a premium piece of real estate with a lake in view and opportunities for boaters and nature lovers to enjoy their favorite outdoor pursuits. The park is seasonal, so it’s wise to book ahead, even if you're just looking to stop over on the way to Casper or Colorado Springs.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
