Description

The Glenwood Canyon Resort prides itself on being one of the most beautiful vacation destinations on the western slopes in Colorado. It's located in Glenwood Springs, and the resort is conveniently located near a wide variety of activities, in addition to all of the on-site facilities. Whether you're looking for a heart-racing adventure or the chance to relax and regroup, this is the place for you! It also happens to be the place for your dog! The resort just asks that you only bring quiet and well-behaved dogs and that you clean up after them. Two small dogs or one medium-sized dog are allowed in the cabins, and you must get approval for your dog at the time of booking. Please note that there are some breed restrictions here -- contact the resort for more information.

Small RVs, camping vans, pop-ups and truck campers can park right along the Colorado River for their stay, while big rigs can park at sites overlooking the Glenwood Canyon. Riverfront sites have 20, 30, or 50-amp hookups, as well as water, campfire rings, and picnic tables. Big rig sites have full hookups as well as picnic tables. Tent sites also overlook the Colorado River, and they come with picnic tables and a communal campfire ring as well. If you're looking to stay in a cabin, the resort offers a variety of options for groups of different sizes. From cozy cottages for couples to deluxe cabins for big groups, they have it all! Be sure to request a dog-friendly cabin when you book if you're bringing your pet, as not all of them allow pets.

Tent sites begin at just $44 a night, while RV sites start at $45, and some cabins can be rented for only $50 a night. If you bring a dog to your RV or tent site, you'll be subject to an additional $5 charge per night, while pet-friendly cabins charge an extra $30 per night per pet.

During your stay, be sure to take advantage of the free shuttle service to the Hot Springs Pool in Glenwood Springs. There's also an on-site outdoor adventure center at the resort, along with laundry facilities, a playground, a dump station, a restaurant, and a gift shop. If you plan on taking to the water during your stay, you'll also have access to the private boat ramp at this pawsome resort!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
