Greenville Farm Family Campground

Switch things up a bit for your next camping trip and check out Greenville Farm Family Campground, where you and your family (pup included) can see what life on the farm is really like. This facility is loved by its patrons -- many of whom return over and over again. While it can prove difficult to book your vacation here due to popularity, if you succeed, you're sure to enjoy the peaceful wooded setting, multiple fishing ponds, and ever-present mooing off in the distance.

For those wishing to visit, there are three different types of campsites offered to guests. Tenters stay on basic sites nestled in the forest that include rock fire circles and a picnic table -- but no hookups of any kind. For those with trailers and mid-sized RVs, there are electric and water campsites, and for larger RVs, full-hookup lots are available out in the open grass area. Also, for your convenience, there is a camp store on-site along with a laundry room and a dump station.

You won't be looking around for things to do at Greenville Farm. They're proud to provide two swimming pools (one of them is for kids only) so you can spend hot summer days beating the Virginia heat. Don't forget your fishing pole, either, as there are ponds here that are stocked well and do not require a license for use. The farm also happens to be centrally located to many of the area's tourist attractions -- including the Manassas Battlefield and Historical Museum, Mount Vernon, and Washington DC!

This campground doesn't seem to enforce strict rules for their canine guests; however, we suggest bringing along a lead or small pen to keep your pupper from bothering other campers. Also, as always, help keep doggos welcome here by picking up any messes they leave behind -- and make sure they don't bother the farm animals!
