Gunsmoke RV Park

Since 1978, the Gunsmoke RV Park in Dodge City, Kansas has been a pawpular vacation destination for families looking to camp in tents, RVs, and cabins. Since 2017, the resort has been under new management, and they pride themselves on running a clean and friendly park where everyone feels welcome. Of course, that includes making four-legged guests feel comfortable too, which is why this is a dog-friendly RV park! Pets aren't permitted in cabins or tents, but they're welcome to join their humans in RVs. To keep the park neat and tidy, guests must clean up after their pet, or they risk paying a fine. All areas of the park are on-leash, and your pet must be restrained no longer than six feet when they're not in your vehicle.

The park's cabin doesn't have a bathroom or kitchen, but it's a nice alternative to RV or tent camping if that's what you'd prefer! RV sites can accommodate vehicles of just about any length, and they come with full hookups. Let management know if you'd like a spot with more shade or any other requests you might have -- they always do their best to accommodate their guests. The tent camping spots are in a secluded area toward the back of the park, and tent campers can use the park's restroom, shower, and laundry facilities. The tent camping sites don't have electricity, but there are water spigots around the campground.

During your stay, be sure to venture into the General Store, where you can shop for old Western souvenirs and other supplies. Gunsmoke RV Park also has a swimming pool, a playground, a game room, free WiFi, and fire pits. Tent camping sites can be rented for only $20 per night, RV camping sites start at $36.65, and the cabin can be rented for as low as $50 per night at this furrific RV park.
