Description

Located on four acres of flat grassland with the Wind River Mountain range in view sits a popular campground with super-sized RV sites and genuinely helpful hosts.

Highline Trail RV Park is an appealing camp with level, gravel sites, and you can choose between a primitive site or one with full hookups. Scattered trees offer a little shade. Sites are back-in or pull-through and come with a picnic table and fire ring. Bring your laptop, as wifi is included in the daily rate of $38 to $45.

Tenters are welcome to set up camp and can opt to spend a few nights in a classic tipi, which the kids are sure to love. A larger safari tent is ideal for accommodating a group of friends, family, or backpackers. You can tell the hosts take pride in their park, with beautifully kept restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. Plus, it's close the highway, making it ideal for folks passing through. Although a little road noise can be heard at the camp, it doesn’t appear to be an issue.

Pets are invited to stay, as long as they're kept on-leash and their parents clean up after them. The open arena of grassland is a dream exercise area for city pups used to the local park and walking the pavement. If you have any concerns regarding the camp's pet policy, call the staff for more information.

Outdoor enthusiasts will head for the town of Pinedale, an open door to hiking on the Wind River Range trails or fishing in the nearby lakes. Folks from faraway lands come to experience the grandeur of this epic mountainous region where Mother Nature reigns supreme. You can hike with your dog on a leash, but be sure to keep them hydrated and away from wildlife, as bears are known to live in these parts

Get ready for a world of Wyoming adventure when you book into Highlight Trails RV Park, a unique campground where folks find it hard to leave. Peak times are the summer months and holidays, so it's wise to book ahead.
