If you’re looking for a place with a scenic setting, well-maintained facilities, and lots of activities nearby, then House Creek Campground is the perfect destination for you. Set just outside the town of Dolores, it sits next to the calm waters of the McPhee Reservoir. You can choose from a few different kinds of sites, so you can rest assured you’ll find something to fit your needs. The campground is pet-friendly, so you can bring your dog along with you!

The campground has 37 sites. The nightly fee for a standard nonelectric site is $24, for a standard electric site is $32, and for a group site is $80. The campground is a great place to relax, leave your worries behind, and enjoy the fresh air and scenic views of the reservoir. Many of the campground’s sites have shelters for shade, and other amenities at the campground include picnic tables, drinking water, and campfire rings with grills. The campground also features a boat ramp for the adjacent reservoir and a dump station.

If you’re looking for fun ways to pass the time at House Creek Campground, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. An obvious choice is to spend some time at McPhee Reservoir, where you can enjoy boating, swimming, fishing, or even water skiing. To learn about the area’s history, you can visit some of the archeological sites and cliff dwellings that were inhabited by the Anasazi culture. When you’re staying at House Creek Campground, remember that pets must remain leashed at all times. Also note that there is a $10 fee for using the dump station.
