You'll find this captivating campsite nestled in the northern section of Tonto National Forest, which is the fifth largest forest in the United States. This wondrous woodland gets millions of visitors every year, and with plenty of lakes, reservoirs, and wildlife to spot, it's not hard to see why! Your barking bestie can join you on many of the terrific trails in Tonto National Forest as long as they're leashed, and since there's over 2 million acres of forest to cover, you can be assured that you'll never run out of room to explore! Just remember to pack poop bags and don't forget to pick up after your pooch, no matter where you are! Not only does this woodland provide a great space for adventure, but it's also the perfect place to have a campground because it keeps sites shaded, while also letting plenty of sunshine in.
