You will find 46 sites at the campground, 20 of which are first-come-first-served. The nightly rate of $21 applies to all sites, and each site can accommodate up to eight people. There are also a number of amenities at the campground that will improve the quality of your stay. These include picnic tables, fire rings, grills, drinking water, and even a playground for children. With all these great features, you might be tempted to hang out at the campground, but there is so much to explore in the area that you won't want to miss! Many campers enjoy the amazing hiking opportunities in Roosevelt National Forest. While there are many trails and other sites throughout the forest, a good place to start is at the two trailheads near the campground, West Magnolia and East Portal.
There are a couple of things you should take note of when you’re planning your trip to Kelly Dahl. Please remember that reservations for sites must be made at least four days ahead of time, and there is a fee of $10 for phone reservations and $9 for online reservations. Also note that pets must remain on-leash at all times. You will not have access to electricity, hookups, or a dump station at Kelly Dahl Campground.
