Description

Kit Price Campground is a charming destination that suits anyone who wants to camp out in Idaho! It is tucked away in the middle of Idaho Panhandle National Forests, a vast expanse of three different forests spanning three states that totals over three million acres. Kit Price Campground provides campers with the opportunity to explore the forests’ many great features, and campers also enjoy its great amenities and well-kept facilities. And campers with dogs love Kit Price because the campground is pet-friendly!

Kit Price Campground has 52 sites you and your pooch can choose from. The nightly fee for a site is $18, and the fee for day use is $9. Each of the sites has picnic tables, fire pits, and grills. The campground also has drinking water, a self-pay station, trash collection services, and firewood for sale.

You might want to venture out of the campground for a little while to explore some of the area’s pawesome activities. You can stop by the Coeur d’Alene River, which flows next to the campground. There, you can swim, fish, and float to your heart’s content. You might also want to check out some of the area’s trails and hiking locations. Tubbs Hill Park is a great choice nearby; this recreation area is a 120-acre expanse that you and your pooch can explore. The main trail is a two-mile loop, and there are shorter connecting trails as well. You can take one of the smaller trails to the nearby lake, where you and your dog can hang out on the beach — or in the water!

There are a couple of things to keep in mind when you’re camping at Kit Price. Remember that your furry friend must remain leashed at all times. Also be sure to clean up after your dog. Note that bringing an extra vehicle to your campsite will incur an additional fee, and there is a two-vehicle maximum at each site. Finally, remember that you are in an active bear zone, so you should take the appropriate precautions.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
