Lake Hartwell Camping and Cabins

Lake Hartwell Camping and Cabins offers its guests accommodations on the beautiful Lake Harwell in South Carolina. The spacious campground encompasses over 60 acres of land with 115 campsites available for different types of camping. RVs, tents, trailers, motor homes, and pop-ups are all welcome at the grounds, and there are also cabin rentals available. Pets are permitted on the campground, but not all sites and/or rentals are pet-friendly. You can call to inquire before making your reservation.

There are 40 tent sites, with water and electric on each site. Roasting marshmallows won't be an issue when camping, because all sites come with a fire-pit. 80 sites intended for RVs come with a pull-thru and the option to have sewer, water, and electric hookups, or just electric and water. Both 30 and 50 amp sites are available, so be sure to specify the site type you require when reserving your stay! If you're interested in renting a cabin, there are nine available. You can choose from a rustic cottage, a cabin with lake views, or a single person lodge. 

A boat ramp is conveniently located on the lake for you to use if you decide to bring your boat along with you. If you don't have a boat, not a worry because there are a variety of types available to rent including canoes, Pontoon boats that seat 8, and Jon boats that seat 4 occupants. Cruising the water or finding the perfect location to swim can be fun ways to spend your day while camping.

Other activities you can find at the campground include swimming in either the large pool or the kiddie pool, getting a hole in one at the mini-putt course, or getting some exercise in the basketball, volleyball, or tennis courts found within the grounds. You can also play a competitive game of horseshoes or just let loose in the games room. Hiking and fishing are also popular.
