Lake Ridge RV Resort

Lake Ridge RV Resort is a family-friendly place that many groups choose to visit year after year because they just can't get enough! You'll find it in Hillsville, Virginia, and there are more than 100 RV, tent, and cabin camping sites to choose from. Some guests note there isn't much room between RV sites, but there are lots of trees so you'll still have privacy. 

Your pooch can come along to enjoy all that this resort has to offer too, but you'll have to follow a few rules. While up to two dogs are allowed at each RV site, they're not permitted in tent camping sites. You can also choose a dog-friendly cabin where you can bring up to two pets, but you'll be subject to a $25 non-refundable pet cleaning fee. There's a dog park at the resort, but make sure your dog is on a leash in all other areas of the resort, and never forget to clean up after them!

Choose from back-in or pull-through RV sites, as well as a site with full hookups or just water and electric. Your site will have a concrete parking pad, as well as cable TV and free WiFi access. Cabins are fully furnished, but you'll need to bring your own linens. Cabins, RV, and tent sites all come with picnic tables and fire rings, and there is also a propane filling station. Guests have access to modern bathhouses and laundry facilities, as well as a snack bar and a camp store with anything you might need during your stay. Prices start at just $27 per night for a primitive tent site.

During peak summer season, the resort has a variety of planned activities you can take part in, including hayrides on Saturday nights. There's a pool for all ages and a baby pool, and the resort even has two 400-foot waterslides! You can also enjoy the basketball, shuffleboard, and horseshoe facilities, or the playgrounds and miniature golf course. Fishing fans can use the four-acre catch-and-release lake during their stay, too!
