Lazy Acres RV Park

Thinking of taking a road trip to Cedar Rapids, Iowa? Don't waste a minute longer worrying about family fur-iendly lodging because Lazy Acres RV Park has you covered! Lazy Acres isn't your average RV park, boasting amenities more reminiscent of a theme park than a campground. 

This park was created with families in mind, with fun activities tailored to kids of all ages. Your tots will love the on-site mini-golf course, game room, custom-built playground, sandbox, and even a miniature train rides that pint-sized guests can chug along on! Casting a line or going for a paddle boat ride in the park's fishing pond is another excellent way for visiting families to bond during their stay. 

Your furry companions are welcome here as well, though we advise you to call the office before your stay to confirm your dog doesn't fall under their breed restrictions. Don't let all the excitement of the park distract you from picking up after your pooch; nothing can ruin a good time (or your new kicks) quite like stepping in a dog patty! You will need to keep Fido leashed while exploring the grounds too -- the duck pond can lead even the best pups into temptation! 

The campground has 76 total RV and tent sites, including several group sites that accommodate 4 or more motorhomes, and ADA accessible sites that ensure no one gets left out. RV sites range from $33 to $35 a night and feature full 30/50 amp hookups, a fire ring, and a picnic table, as well as convenient access to all their amenities, including immaculately clean bathrooms with changing stations! Other lodging options offered are electric and nonelectric tent camping and three waterfront cabins.
