Leesville Lake Campground

Situated in Gretna, Virginia is Leesville Lake Campground, offering you a vacation getaway you won't forget! Since being taken over by new ownership, this campground has undergone many updates to make it more comfortable and enjoyable for guests.

Pets are permitted at Leesville Lake Campground, so you're in the clear to bring Fido. The only rules you have to follow are keeping your pup on a leash at all times when inside the campground and cleaning up any mess they make. Dog waste can be deposed of in the garbage bins located throughout the park.

At Leesville Lake, you'll find accommodations that meet the needs of RV and tent campers. Both back-in and pull-through sites are offered to guests with full hookups (20, 30 and 50 amps). Water and sewage are also offered. All sites come equipped with fire rings and picnic tables, adding comfort to your stay. Seasonal sites are also available, with wireless internet being offered to all guests. Tents are permitted on RV campsites, but not alone on their own campsite. If you are visiting another guest at the park, day passes cost $5.00 and nightly stays are $40.00 a night.

The 17-mile-long lake is the perfect place for you to take a stroll or dip with your pooch, and it’s within walking distance of the campground. You'll be delighted to find trails around the lake and the nearby area. Depending on the time of year you walk, you may be greeted by different critters. Swimming, in addition to a variety of water activities, can be found at the lake. Boating, kayaking, and canoeing are all popular on the lake, as there is a boat ramp conveniently located for guests to use. There's also a parking lot at the lake, so it's easy to transport your water vehicle. Rentals are available for those in need.

In addition to the lake, other amenities found at Leesville Lake Campground include laundry and a bathhouse that comes equipped with showers, bathtubs, and flush toilets. Horseshoe pits are found inside the park and a swimming pool offers guests a second option for cooling off.
