Linder Point Campground

Linder Point is a beautiful campground located on scenic Coralville Lake. The campground is surrounded by a forest filled with hardwood trees that keep the campsites shady and cool. There are 18 campsites in total at Linder Point, and about half of these sites offer full electric hook-ups. The nightly rates at this furrific campground start at $16.

While you’re at Linder Point, you’ll find lots of fun things to do with your furry best friend. If you and your dog like hiking together, check out the Squire Point and Woodpecker Trail System. This trail system is accessible from Linder Point Recreation Area, and it features five miles of interconnected trails. These trails take you along Coralville Lake and through a stunning forest. One of the most popular trails in this system is Woodpecker Trail, a 0.7-mile trail that goes past a sinkhole, unique limestone rock formations, and fields filled with wildflowers. You and your pup will both have a great time hiking here!

Linder Point is also a good choice for water lovers. Many campers enjoy boating, canoeing, or kayaking on Coralville Lake. If you’re an angler, you can try your luck catching crappie, walleye, bass, and catfish in the lake. Many people also love swimming in the lake’s beautiful, clear water.

At the end of the day, you and your pup can relax and enjoy Linder Point’s many amenities. Each campsite comes with a campfire ring with a grill, which you can use to cook dinner for you and your dog. At night, you and your pup can curl up next to a roaring fire and enjoy views of lovely Coralville Lake.
