Description

Lithia Springs contains an updated campground that features several amenities, offering a comfortable stay for guests. Every one of the over 100 sites here is electrified, meaning overnight visitors looking to bring additional creature comforts will be able to run their devices throughout the night. A dump station is also provided by Lithia Springs, meaning that pop-up campers and RVs are welcome as well. Deluxe lakefront sites are available for an additional cost, so make sure to call ahead if you'd like to reserve something a little more scenic. Feel free to keep any canine companions along for an overnight stay, as long as they're on a short leash and kept indoors overnight, as no leash staking is allowed here.

Taking Fido for a hike is pretty easy in Lithia Springs, thanks to its adjacent forests. While no official hiking trails exist, there are plenty of primitive footpaths that offer a chance to take canines out for a potty break, provided you clean up any messes they deposit. As Lithia Springs is open for most of the year, these primitive forest areas tend to be quite the draw for autumn enthusiasts who like to witness the changing colors.

Lithia Springs offers a swimming beach free for guests on the nearby Lake Shelbyville. Visitors are warned that this area is not regularly staffed with lifeguards, so any swimming is done at your own risk. If you've got Fido along for a swim day they'll have to hang out on the beach while you dip your toes, so make sure they're supervised. You wouldn't want them to turn into a "hot dog" in the summer sun!

Guests looking to do a bit of boating are in luck here as well, with the campground offering a free public boat ramp as well as a full-service marina where you can refuel and grab last-minute supplies. Boat registration is required for exploration in these waters, so be sure to obtain yours before dropping anchor here. If Fido's your co-pilot for the day, make sure you keep them safe and secure.

Lithia Springs is located around several other recreational opportunities. Visitors should keep in mind that prices listed here pertain only to the campground, and may not reflect additional outside costs.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
