The pastoral grounds are well-kept, with a picnic table and fire-ring provided on all sites, plus access to the internet and cable TV. Daily rates range from $54 to $61. Tent sites with a forest view are $40 a night.

The family pooch is welcome at tent and RV sites, with a limit of two furry mates per site. Current vaccination records are to be presented at check-in, and some dog breeds may not gain entry. Call ahead to ensure your pup is welcome. A pet park lets bow-wow besties play off-leash and meet other visiting pups. The eclectic mix of forest and grassland offers camping dogs exciting walks on the hiking trails along the stream.

The park lights up at various times of the year with super fun events including the Apple Festival, a tractor and car show, live music, and holiday celebrations.
