Description
Mt Princeton RV Park is located just north of Buena Vista, Colorado, in the stunning Collegiate Peaks. Surrounded by 14ers on every side, the RV park and campground is a great spot for those looking for an outdoor adventure to call home. The campground allows leashed dogs and all sides are full hook-up with water and sewer. There are pull-thru sites in addition to the back-in sites, each of which is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring.

The campground has a new clubhouse on-site with clean bathrooms, showers, laundry services, and a large community room, perfect for those traveling with a group. At present moment, the campground is in the process of adding Wi-Fi throughout the park. However, Wi-Fi is currently only available at the clubhouse.

Mt. Princeton RV park allows dogs, asking owners to keep them leashed and make sure to clean up their waste. They also ask that people only bring one pooch per RV, so you'll need to abide by this. The campground is in an idyllic setting in Chalk Creek Canyon, providing access to the river, tons of hiking and biking trails, several local hot springs resorts (including Mt. Princeton Hot Springs), and more. The high mountain elevation (8,000 feet) makes for warm summer days and cool nights, so make sure you are prepared for a wide range of temperatures and climates - for yourself and Fido! In addition to the RV and tent sites, there are also several cabins for rental. However, pets are not allowed in the on-site cabins.

The hip town of Buena Vista is a short 15-minute drive, and Salida is just 45 minutes away. Both towns boast a great dining scene, tons of quaint shops and outdoor stores, and breathtaking views. The area is known for kayaking and white water rafting along the Arkansas River, and there are plenty of outfits that offer guided trips.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
