You won't have to spend much time pondering how to spend your time here, since the resort is convenient to a predatorial bird sanctuary,  the Silver City ghost town, and several unique geological features like the Hagerman Fossil Beds! The fossil beds offer a glimpse into America's past, boasting the world's largest deposit of fossilized Equus Simplicidens, better known as Hagerman Horse or the American Zebra -- a mysterious and now extinct species. The fossil beds make an educational and fun day trip since they are less than an hour's drive from Mountain Home. Don't feel like driving that far? Bruneau Dunes National Park is just over 20 minutes away, and is home to the tallest sand dunes in the country! 

Hardcore adventuring can leave you feeling worse for wear, but a soak in the on-site hot tub will have you saying goodbye to muscle tension and hello to relaxation. Too hot for the jacuzzi?
