RV sites are for pull-throughs, are 30 amp, have room for pull-outs, water hookup, electric hookup, and some of the sites are shaded as well. Tent camping is also available if that is what you prefer. At this campground, you will also find a ton of amenities that will make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is extra RV storage space, free WiFi, showers, flushing toilets and restrooms, a dump station, laundry room, your own picnic table at each site, firepits, a playground for the kids, free bike rentals for campers, and an on-site mini store with snacks, drinks, and other essential items.Â
The site is mostly gravel driveways with grassy areas and some trees here and there to provide some shade. There are two rivers located nearby the campground that are great for fishing, kayaking, and canoeing in as well. You will have some views of the Alaskan Range, and the village of Nenana provides an authentic rural Alaskan experience.Â
Dogs are allowed at this site, but they must wear their leash at all times. There is no designated doggy area, so you will have to take them for a walk or to the bathroom on a leash to one of the many grassy areas of walkways throughout the park. Make sure you clean up after your dog when they go to the bathroom and discard of the poop bag at the dump station.Â
Overall, Nenana RV Park and Campground is a great place to stay when you are passing through the area on your way to Fairbanks or Denali National Park. Come and check out this small family-owned campground for a wonderful, homey experience!Â
