You will find plenty of shaded areas and natural beauty at this campground since it is located in the woods and the RV sites are all surrounded by trees. You are close to salmon fishing and beautiful lakes, a national park that is great for hiking, and an abundance of churches, guided fished tours, yummy restaurants, museums, and art galleries.Â
At the actual campground, there are 5 full hook-up sites, pull-through, and back-in options as well. There are showers here, and you can take two showers per day for free. Free WiFi is available as well. There is fresh drinking water available for filling your own containers to drink by the tent camping area, a sink for washing dishes, and some picnic tables are located throughout the site. You will also have lots of quiet time as the campground is not located where you can hear any loud and busy roads even though it is close to the highway for easy travel.Â
This is a true-camping-and-no-frills park, so you will not find a special dog play area here or provided poop bags. You will have to bring your own poop bags and clean up after your dog when they are done going to the bathroom. You should keep your pup on a leash when they are not in your tent or RV and always make sure they are non-aggressive and listen to your voice commands.Â
Overall, Northern Nights RV park is a great option for those looking to stop through the area with their dog for a night or two before they head to their next destination. Although there are limited amenities, nice owners, clean showers, and a quiet location make for a peaceful stay. Â
