Peace Valley Campground

Peace Valley Campground is a family-owned and operated campground located in West Sunbury, Pennsylvania. The dog-friendly campground is easily accessible and conveniently situated just an hour outside of Pittsburgh. It offers both tent and RV camping, as well as cabins and cottages for rent. Fun activities, friendly hosts, and amazing amenities are the main reasons this campground is a popular place for family trips or weekends away from the busy city life.

The campground offers spacious sites, most of which are pull-through with full hookups available. The campsites can accommodate large RVs, but please call in advance to check availability. All tent sites come equipped with a fire ring and a picnic table. There is a well-maintained bathhouse, laundry facilities, and a dump station at the campground, so patrons get to enjoy the perks of camping in the wild without missing out on any of the comforts. Most of the campsites are well-shaded thanks to the tall pine trees that grow throughout the grounds, though there are a few sunny sites that can get hot in the summer too. The lakeside cabin offers scenic views and a private deck for patrons to enjoy, along with two bedrooms and a full kitchen.  

Although popular year-round, the Peach Valley Campground gets especially busy during the summer when patrons can take advantage of the heated pool on-site and the 27-foot water slide. The campground also features a playground, a restaurant, a camp store, and a game room. If that's not enough, there is also a stocked fishing hole and a creek that runs through the campground. In addition to fishing, visitors can participate in a variety of activities – from rubber ducky races down the creek, pony rides and candy hunts for kids, and wine tasting, flower pot crafts and softball games for the adults.

Tent sites start at $28 per night, while RV sites start at $52 depending on water, sewer, and electric hookups. Cabin rentals start at $48 per night, and the cottage rental fees are $140 per night. Prices are higher during weekends and holidays, and there are extra fees for additional persons and pets in cabins, as well as seasonal and military discounts. Note that the cottage is not pet-friendly.
