Philadelphia/West Chester KOA

The Philadelphia/West Chester KOA is the "pawfect" campground for pet parents looking to take their fur-baby on a road trip to the City of Brotherly Love. Tucked away in a bend on the Brandywine River, this KOA is just over 40 miles west of Philly and offers tons of amenities and activities for campers and their pup partners to enjoy. 

Dogs are welcome at tent and RV sites, but not in cabins. They must also be kept on a leash at all times around camp. RV sites come with everything you'll need for your visit, with many providing full hookups and room for slideouts. Some deluxe sites also come with a patio so you can make the most of the great outdoors. 

Within the Philadelphia/West Chester KOA, you'll find a Kamp K9 dog park, where your pup can get some much-needed exercise. If you fancy taking your dog on an adventure, the Philadelphia/West Chester KOA borders the Natural Lands' ChesLen Preserve, which covers over 1,200 acres of beautiful Pennsylvania countryside. Doggos are welcome in most of the preserve but must be on a leash.

This KOA provides lots of fun activities for pet parents and puppers. The Brandywine River is ideal for watersports, and avid anglers will love fishing for smallmouth and largemouth bass. You can also rent a canoe and enjoy a paddle downstream. If you'd prefer to stay around camp, you can make a splash at the swimming pool, practice your putting at the mini-golf course, or play classic campground games like gaga ball.
