Description

Located only miles from Yellowstone National Park and surrounded by a lake and mountains is the unforgettable RedRock RV and Camping Park. This dog-friendly campground, situated in Idaho, offers guests unlimited access to a peaceful outdoor oasis.

While at the campground with your pooch, be mindful of other guests by cleaning up all dog waste right away and disposing of it properly in trash receptacles. You're also asked to maintain control of your pup by keeping them on a leash at all times, aside from when you're inside of your own tent or RV. All dogs are permitted at RedRock, but aggressive behavior is frowned upon and will not be tolerated!

In total, there are 90 RV sites, all of which come with full hookup services, including water, sewage, and electric. Electric services reach up to 50 amps. Rates start at $30 per night for tent sites and go up to $68 for RV sites. All sites are spacious, pull-through, and can accommodate large rigs. Primitive tent sites are also offered to those looking for an authentic outdoor experience sleeping under the stars. Surrounding the sites are stunning mountains, including part of both the Henry's Lake and Rocky Mountain ranges. The campground sits below Sawtelle Peak, which is over 10,000 feet high and a destination you can drive to -- something to try with the pup, perhaps!

Located only a mile away from the campground is Henry's Lake, where you'll find recreational fishing. Known as one of North America's fishing hot-spots, Henry's Lake is acclaimed for its large trout, weighing up to 18 pounds. Other fishing options for anglers include the nearby rivers accessible from the campground. Kayaking and canoeing are other popular activities done along the nearby rivers, such as Henry's Fork of the Snake River.

As this campground is part of the Yellowstone ecosystem, it's possible you'll spot or cross paths with some wildlife while you take a stroll with your pup. Check out one of the walking paths that zigzag through the forest, located only 100 yards from the campsites. Depending on what you're up for, there are trails both long and short. Long trails, intended for a backpacked hike, make a "pawfect" day trip with the pup.

Grab your pooch and head to RedRock RV and Camping Park in Idaho for a true outdoor experience. At RedRock, you'll be overwhelmed with the mountain views and scenic outdoors, creating an ample atmosphere for relaxation with your pup.
