River's Fork Lodge and RV Park
Are you and Fido looking to camp in Idaho? Well, grab the leash and head on over to River's Fork Lodge and RV Park in North Fork, Idaho, nestled right alongside Salmon River. All campsites are waterfront, with the lodge overlooking the river, guaranteeing you and your pooch scenic views of the calming river waters.
Keep in mind to follow the campground rules if you bring your pup. They include cleaning up after your pup and leaving them on their leash at all times, even when exploring the river. You're also asked to never leave your pup in your lodge room or camper unattended at any time. All breeds are welcome, but aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
At River's Fork, there is a limited number of campsites, with only 8 available. All sites are spacious and right on the river, so you can fall asleep to the soothing sounds of flowing water. All RV sites come fully loaded with complete hookup services, including water, sewage, and electric. Sites are large, gravel, back-in, and can accommodate large rigs -- so don't fret if you own a big camper!
If you don't have an RV but want to experience this camping paradise, check out the lodge. There are seven rooms available to rent at the lodge and it's pooch-friendly. There is a small fee of $10 for your pooch to enjoy the comforts of the lodge. This fee doesn't apply when staying in an RV. All lodge rooms come equipped with amenities to modernize your experience at River's Fork. They also come with two queen-size beds, a kitchen table, bathroom, and mini-refrigerator. You can even wake up to a fresh cup of coffee as all rooms have coffee makers as well.
When looking for amenities at this campground, you'll be pleased to discover potable water that's easy to access. There’s no bathroom here, so if you're staying in an RV, be prepared to use your whole camper! The breathtaking Salmon River is a guest favorite and popular pastime. Grab an inner tube and float down the river or cast a line from the shore if you're an angler.
Both hunting and nature viewing are entertainment options accessible from the grounds. If you choose to explore the forested trails surrounding the park with Fido, be on the lookout for larger (and potentially dangerous!) four-legged creatures. Take the appropriate precautions with food storage to prevent unwanted wildlife interactions.
