Description

Ruedi Marina Campground rests in the heart of Colorado’s White River National Forest. The campground is one of the state’s most popular, and every season, countless campers visit to experience the awe-inspiring Colorado outdoors. If you were looking for the ideal location for your next campout, you’ve found it. The campground’s scenic vistas will make you forget your stress, and the outdoor activities nearby will give you plenty of ways to enjoy your time. The campground is pet-friendly, so you can bring your dog along for the adventure!

Ruedi Marina Campground sits beside the Ruedi Reservoir. It is surrounded by a mixed conifer forest that provides ample shade for the campsites, and the majestic mountains in the distance add to the campground’s wonderful ambiance. It houses eight campsites — the nightly fee for a site is $23, but there is an additional $2 fee on holidays. The sites can accommodate both tents and RVs. At the campground, you have access to a number of amenities such as picnic tables, campfire rings, drinking water, trash collection, and a boat ramp.

You will probably want to take advantage of the outdoor activities in the surrounding area. The adjacent reservoir is a convenient choice, and you can boat or fish there. There are also some rivers in the area that provide additional fishing opportunities. If you’re interested in hiking, you have plenty of trails to choose from. The Ruedi Trail is conveniently located north of the reservoir. You can also try the Jeep trail — this trail is also near the campground and runs about eight miles.

Remember to keep your dog leashed at all times. Note that there is a $6 fee for additional vehicles. If you plan on boating in the reservoir, be aware that there are mandatory boat inspections to prevent the spread of zebra and quagga mussels.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
