Description

Sibley Lake Campground is a fantastic campground in northern Wyoming. It is a well-maintained campground that occupies an ideal location — it sits in Bighorn National Forest, which covers over one million acres and is one of the oldest government-protected regions in the country. Campers have access to this amazing setting while they stay at Sibley Lake Campground, and there are lots of opportunities for outdoor activities like fishing, wildlife viewing, and more. One of the campground’s best features is that it welcomes dogs, so you can bring your furry friend along with you!

Sibley Lake has 24 campsites total, and each site can accommodate up to eight people. The nightly cost for one of the sites is $18, but the cost is increased to $23 for a site with electric hookups. The sites all have access to the campground’s awesome amenities, and these include picnic tables, campfire rings with grills, vault restrooms, and drinking water. There is trash collection available at Sibley Lake Campground also. The campground rests beside the lake that gives it its name, and the area is surrounded by lodgepole pines. The scenic mountains in the distance watch over the surrounding forests and grasslands.

You’ll definitely want to venture out and see what the area has to offer. If you head over to the lake, you can fish from the dock or enjoy non-motorized boating. There are also plenty of trails nearby, so if you love hiking or wildlife viewing, you can find lots of places to go!

There are a few things to consider when you’re planning your journey to Sibley Lake. Remember that dogs must remain on-leash at all times. Also, groups larger than 20 people are not permitted at the campground. If you have a large group, you can find some group campsites nearby at places like Willow Park or Ranger Creek.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
