Browsing through this camp's fun and informative website, you get the feeling this could be a great place to spend the summer or a weekend getaway. Drive into Snake River RV Park and meet the friendly staff, who’ll help you get hooked up to water, electricity (30/50 amp), and sewer. Staying connected to the Internet is complimentary and all sites are fairly level, made of grass or gravel, have a picnic table, and a fire-ring.
The roads here are also gravel with trees offering some shade, while restrooms and showers are tidy with a laundry for camper convenience. A cool playground keeps the kids happy for hours plus there’s a hot tub and an inviting pool for more camping fun.
Pets are welcome with a $4 fee in place and can go-off leash in the fenced dog area. There is no restriction on breeds but a limit of three pets per site is enforced. Visiting pups need to be under constant supervision and trained to respond to their owner's voice cues. Dogs should be on-leash when not in the dog run due to the busy road and area. All owners are requested to pick up their pooch's waste.
Pitch a tent on the grass or stay the night in one of the park's stylish cabins featuring all the comforts of home. Snake River RV Park and Campground is situated in an industrial part of beautiful Idaho Falls, with versatile accommodations and a popular gift store.
The “all you can eat" pancake breakfast is a great way to start the day and take in the local sights including the invigorating Idaho Falls Green Belt, an eleven-mile hike with captivating views of Snake River, waterfalls, and seasonal flower gardens. It’s okay to take your dog but they must remain on-leash.
While you’re in town, check out the Idaho Museum just under two miles from the campground for jaw-dropping exhibits and a lesson in local history. Be wowed by the amazing Eagle Fountain, showcasing beautiful wildlife sculptures, then visit The Idaho Falls Zoo to see animals from different parts of the world and learn about their conservation. Further afield is Yellowstone National Park.
If you’re happy to explore the area around Snake River RV Park, the weekend Farmers Market is always a popular community event.
