Description

Sparrow Pond Family Campground & Recreation Center is situated in western Pennsylvania. This campground is nestled among forested hills and valleys diverse in wildlife, which guarantees a novel experience for both you and your pooch as you explore the landscape.

Sparrow Pond is dog-friendly, with no restrictions on breed, making it the pawfect place for any pooch. There are a few rules to be mindful of -- your pup must be on a leash when not tied down at your site. When using a tie-down, be sure to always supervise your pooch for their safety and comfort. Dogs that act aggressively or that exhibit excessive barking can be asked to leave the grounds. The only places that your pup is not permitted are the pool, playground, or inside of buildings.

When it comes to accommodating you and your pooch, all tent and vehicle sites are pet-friendly. There are a variety of cabin rental options at Sparrow Pond, but they're unfortunately not dog-friendly. All sites come with electrical services, either 20, 30 or 50 amps. Primitive tent sites start at $40 per night. There are also full hook-up sites available for RVs, and water and electric sites intended for smaller camping vehicles. All sites come with a picnic table and fire ring. No rig is too big at Sparrow Pond!

Some ways to spend your day include visiting the swimming pool, casting a line at the catch-and-release fishing pond, or hitting up one of the various sports courts, including basketball and volleyball. Take your pup along with you for a hayride or rent a golf cart and venture through the acres of campground together.

With almost 200 acres of outdoors to explore in western Pennsylvania, Sparrow Pond Family Campground offers you and your four-legged companion a unique experience. Here, the two of you may be greeted by the diverse wildlife found throughout the region, such as beavers, bats, hares, and groundhogs, as you enjoy the comfort of the campground.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
