Description

Spruce Lake RV Resort in Estes Park, Colorado, has been called by the Denver Post the “resort you really don’t need or want to leave.” To that end, the resort is a quiet getaway surrounded by green meadows, a tranquil crystal-clear lake, and the flowing rapids of the Big Thompson River.

Local residents and tourists enjoy staying at the Spruce Lake RV Resort when they want to get away from the fast-paced action of the city life or the general busy-ness of everyday living. Beautiful scenery in the form of the Rocky Mountain National Park (elevation 8,000 feet to 14,259 feet) and the Roosevelt National Forest give visitors the opportunity to hike through valleys and mountains while they explore the wide variety of ecosystems.

Rates vary at the Spruce Lake RV Resort, depending on whether you want to stay in an RV, tent, or one of their available cabins, and also based on how long you want to stay. Daily regular season RV rates begin at $68. Amenities include bathrooms and hot showers, a heated pool, wifi, cable, and laundry facilities.

While this property is pet-friendly, there is a maximum of one pet per site, along with a $3 pet fee per day. Dogs have to be on leashes no longer than six feet at all times and never left unattended. There is a pet play area where doggie bags are provided, and you are expected to clean up after Fido at all times. However, their policies dictate that any excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave, and aggressive behavior by pets will not be tolerated. Pets are also not allowed in cabins. Dog pens or fencing are not allowed.

When you are ready to explore outside the resort, you may be interested in the rafting trips down the Colorado River, a fly fishing or wildlife tour, or some of the local flair in the form of the Estes Park shops and restaurants.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
