Description

Thinking of taking a trip to the Centennial State but don't know where to stay? Sugarbush Campground near Salida, Colorada may be right for you! This campground is situated at the heart of the Rocky Mountains and has several lodging options for campers depending on their preference (and budget!). Tent sites begin at $26 per night for a nonelectric site, but for just $4 more, you can upgrade to an electric tent site. RV sites start at $36 per night for a 30-amp site, or you can choose a 50-amp site for $40 per night. These prices include two adults, and any children under 10, though there is a fee of $4 per night for additional adults and kids over 10. Both cats and dogs are welcome as long as they are attended to and well-behaved, though cats must remain enclosed in your RV or tent.

There are modern amenities like wifi, showers, bathrooms, a pavilion, and laundry facilities, but the campground still maintains a rustic vibe with lots of trees and a babbling stream. Each site comes with a picnic table and campfire ring, and firewood can be purchased at the office for just $4.50 per bundle. A bear-resistant dumpster is located on site for guest use, but you will still need to bring a bear-proof food storage box for food and drinks.

Sugarbush Campground is just 20 minutes from the bustling city of Salida, which draws lots of visitors for its exciting attractions including zip-line adventures, golf courses, snowboarding opportunities, and many fine dining restaurants. There are lots more intriguing sightseeing opportunities just a short drive out of town, like historic mining camps and mysterious ghost towns. You can find more information about all these exciting attractions at the campground office.

Sweet times await you and yours at the beautiful Sugarbush Campground, so make your reservation today!
