Description

The Wind River sets a curvaceous course through the heart of Longhorn Ranch Lodge and RV Park, where the adventure of a lifetime is just waiting for you and Fido.

This ethereal Eden is a heavenly location where the masters of the road are connected to electricity, water, sewer, and wifi on a stylish, gravel pad with room to breathe. The setting is wilderness chic as cottonwood trees grace the entire area with leafy shade. Green grass abounds with smooth pull-through and back-in sites right by the river’s edge where you can cast a line and have brown trout on the menu for supper. All RV and allocated tent lots are gifted with a picnic table and fire ring. A camp store is well-stocked for every need with fishing gear and plenty of nice gifts to spoil friends back home.

You can expect supremely clean restrooms showers and a laundry room, plus the choice to stay in the Lodge, where the décor is a rustic Western theme with single rooms and two bedroom cabins featuring a kitchenette and bathroom. Recently renovated, the Lodge boasts captivating views of Whiskey Mountain and home comforts including a microwave, hairdryer, fridge, and access to the internet. In the morning, you’ll be refreshed for the road with a hand-delivered continental breakfast.

Set on thirty-five acres of inspired, open country, the Longhorn Ranch is an escape to paradise where the soul is invigorated and wild animals are often seen wandering through the park. The kids have a playground and will be buzzing at the thought of exploring the trails on horseback, the best way to see the beauty of this untamed land. Nature lovers and hikers will be dazzled by the intrepid trails, especially the Togwotee Trail that takes you on a drive through towns and all the way to Yellowstone Park.

Bring your dog to the ranch and keep them on-leash unless they are happy hounds running free in the newly created dog zone. Owners are asked to pick up their pooches' waste, and you can rent a kennel for fur-babies used to this style of accommodation. Some parts of the Lodge allow pets for an additional fee.

Three miles down the road is the town of Dubois, Wyoming, where the Old West is celebrated on a daily basis. Wear your cowboy boots and you’ll fit right in with the Western vibe that exudes from every store!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
